Luau at the Museum fundraiser by Oceanside Police Department

It was a very successful fundraiser event LUAU at the Museum for the Special Olympics chaired by Oceanside Police Department Detective Chris James held at Oceanside Museum of Art on August 29, 2023. Great to see our heroes first responders OPD Assist Chief Sean Marchand and his wife Tammy, Capt. Taurino Valdovinos, Capt. John McKean, Crime Specialist Ashley Sanchez, Wendy Curtis Sullivan, Officer Luke Rubbish, OPOA president Jeff Vanderberg, to name a few. It was also great to be entertained by awesome Fmr Mayor/ District Council Peter Weiss. Wonderful to see amazing Mayor Esther Sanchez, Superb Fire Chief David Parsons, awesome Fmr Fire Chief/District Council Member Rick Robinson (thank you for your help to find parking) and his wife Cheryl, District Council Ryan Keim, Capt. William Curtis, OFD BC Blake Dorse and his wife, Denise Saiz, Margery Pierce, Eileen Lohner-Turk, Fmr Police Officer Bob and Theresa A. Moore, Fmr Officer Angela Guerra, Molly, Leslie Briggs, Ben Jackson, etc.. Oceanside Sea Lions Club IPP/secretary Pam Pahnke, Chair Andee Irwin, Vice President Zucette Lumabas were happy to attend and support. It was a fun event with singing performance of Peter, dance presentation, a great spread of yummy food, raffles and silent auction. Congratulations!
