Sunday at the Park

CA- The City of Oceanside Parks and Recreation Division and
the Friends of Oceanside Parks, ‘Concert in the Park’
series continued Sunday afternoon at Heritage Park. Over one-hundred
people, in attendance, enjoyed with the music of Mystery Train
with guest vocalist Dmitriy Demidov. Chairman of the Oceanside
International Film Festival.
Special Time for next concert
Next weeks concert,
on August 3rd, will feature Mel Vernon and Friends and has
a special time. The concert will begin at 2:00pm and go three
hours instead of the usual 2 hour show. Mel Vernon and Friends
was the featured band at the Independence Day fireworks show
in Oceanside on July 3rd.
The concert on August
10th is open mic and anyone with an instrument, a singer or
group is invited to perform. If you would like to display
your talent, show up, at Heritage Park at 3:30 so organizers
can set the line-up.
