Sea Lions Club installation of 2014-2015 officers

Oceanside Sea Lions
Club officers 2014-2015 president Zucette Lumabas, vice president
Liz Latasa, secretary/lion tamer Ed Ash, Treasurer Rica Derosier,
lion twister Ted Van Kirk (absent), 2 year directors Pam Pahnke,
Marc Manlapaz, one year directors Dr. Fred Knapp, George Mitchell,
and membership chairman Elwin Derosier (absent) were installed
by Governor Mary Foster-Rynearson on July 15, 2014. Governor
Mary was wonderful. It was funny because of the gifts that
went with the title and solemn with candle lighting installation.
Before the installation the 2013-2014 officers were given
plaques in recognition for all their hard work and commitment
to the club Director Gloria Ash, VP/Director Jackie Knapp,
Director Dr. Fred Knapp, Director George Mitchell, membership
chairman Elwin Derosier (absent), tail twister Ted Van Kirk
(absent), treasurer Rica Derosier, secretary/lion tamer Ed
Ash, President Zucette Lumabas. Governor Mary Foster-Rynearson
presented president Zucette Lumabas the governor's pin, membership
pin for sponsoring the 4 new members for the year 2013-2014
Belle Limoge, Marc Manlapaz, Jackie Lazaga, Mely Sivage, and
Matteo's pin. The pins were beautiful, symbolic and memorable.
Gloria Ash did an excellent job with the preparation and ceremony.
It was more festive and fun with the presence of our ambassador
Teen Princess Jasmine Calderon, Jackie's mother Mary, Rica's
visitors Frank and Wendy Thrower, my visitors Alexis Lauren
Plaisted, Criscelle Alcover-Santiago, Virgie Alcover-Marlin,
Debbie Nicastro, Gerard & Alli Lumabas and family. It
was held at China Super Buffet Restaurant on July 15, 2014.
