Freedom Parade

Oceanside Sea Lions Club joined the Oceanside Freedom Parade on June 29, 2019. Preparation before the parade was fun! We decorated the sparkling vintage car driven by the owner Anthony where the Lion Members rode Lion Belle Limoge, Lion Gerri Hillam; the BMW from Vista driven by Lion George Mitchell, riding Lion Ysela Castillo Sharp and the Teen Princesses were driven: Marlie Wright, Kassidy Betz, Jiselle Banuelos; the Mercedes owned by Belle Limoge driven by Marc Manlapaz, riding Zucette Lumabas Bsn and Miss Teen Oceanside Madison Matella was driven; BMW from Vista driven by Lion James Brown, riding Lion Liz Latasa with the Princesses driven: Ariana Tahmas, Bella Teta, Carmen Gagliardi; Jaguar driven by Stacy, riding Lion Pam Pahnke drove Miss Oceanside Raquel Parizeau! Everyone was awesome, helpful and talented. The royalties had their day! It was fun...fun...fun. Congratulations Cathy Nykiel Parade Organizer and Main Street for a very successful, exciting, colorful event. It was great to see Lion Dennis Aaron Sisneros! And it was wonderful to see Steve Marcotte as usual doing an excellent job. Our deepest appreciation and thanks to the beautiful royalties, lion members , those who drove the cars and those who lend the cars and everyone who made the event successful!
