A Celebration of Community Heroes “HEROES OF OCEANSIDE & CAMP PENDLETON” held by Oceanside Chamber of Commerce CEO Scott Ashton, Porche Copeland, Rosie Hurt, Margery Benkaci, Gwen Bryson was a resounding success held on June 23, 2022 at Arrowood Golf Course ! Awesome Mayor Esther Sanchez gave an inspiring speech and helped present the awards. It was great to see the outstanding Oceanside Fire Department amazing Fire Chief Rick Robinson, Capt. William Curtis, Deputy Mayor Ryan Keim, Former Mayor/Council Member Peter Weiss, Council Member Kori Jensen, Oceanside Police Department H#3 Capt. Sean Marchand, H#5 Capt. Adam Knowland, CEO Tricity Hospital Steve Dietlin, Frontwave CEO Bill Birnie, Former OCC CEO David Nydegger, Debbie Mikulay aide to CM Christoper Rodriguez, Salome Tash District Representative to Cong. Mike Levin, Lisa Frost of Patch, Author Amy Forsythe, OPD Jennifer Atenza, OFD Capt. Hayden Harshman, BC Luc Keener, and friends we haven’t seen for a long while. Congratulations HEROES from Oceanside Fire Department amazing Chris Kilmer and Grace Ramirez, Lifeguards Mitchell Frame, John Farner, Oceanside Police Department Kathleen Kreyling, Officer Luke Rubish , to name a few!
