It was an awesome event
hosted by Oceanside Chamber of Commerce OCC President Scott
Ashton, Kristi Hawthorne, Pam Rumer, Emerald Lowe, directors,
former chair like Chip Dykes on June 14, 2017 at Oceansude
Museum of Arts. Local heroes were awarded for their outstanding
contributions to the well being and advancement of our community.
Attended by Deputy Mayor Chuck Lowery, Council Members Jack
Feller, Jerry Kerns, Chuck Atkins, city manager Michelle Lawrence
and other city of Oceanside staff, OFD Fire Chief Rick Robinson,
DC Bill Kogerman, BC Peter Lawrence, OPD Police Chief Frank
McCoy, Capt. Sean Marchand, Capt. Fred Armijo, Sunita Cook
Miracosta College President, OUSD Superintendent Duane Coleman,
TCMC officers and staff. Congratulations Deputy chief/Fire
Marshall Bill Kogerman, Debbie Dahlquist 5th Grade Teacher
at Ivey Ranch Elementary and other recipients, scholarship
winners, Oceanside Lifeguards, Oceanside Fire Department,
Oceanside Police Department, Teachers of the year, Classified
Employees of the Year. Oceanside Sea Lions Director/ FACO

the event.
