Oceanside Heroes Welcome was held on June 12, 2019 at Oceanside Museum of Arts. It was great to see Mayor Peter Weiss, Fire Chief Rick Robinson, Division Chief Peter Lawrence, City Manager Michelle Lawrence, former OCC CEO David Nydegger, Lifeguard Capt. Bill Curtis, Police Chief Frank McCoy, Council Members Jack Feller, Christopher Rodriguez, Ryan Keim, Main Street Rick Wright, Gumaro Escarcega, to name a few. Congratulations Heroes from Oceanside Firefighters Department Fire Engineer Hayden Harshman, Fire Prevention Team, Oceanside Lifeguards Oceanside Jr. Lifeguard Award Mick Billings, Oceanside Street Lifeguard Award John Daniels, Oceanside Police Department Officer of the Year Detective Brent Keys; Professional Staff of the Year Kim Watson, 2019 OUSD Classified Employees and Teachers of the Year; Student Scholarship, Healthcare Providers winners! Congratulations OCC CEO Scott Ashton, Kristi Hawthorne, Quintin Harmon, Kristi Warwick on another successful event. It was an amazing event attended by OSLC Director Zucette Lumabas. Great to see the heroes honored, to see friends and renew acquaintances.
