OSLC Guest Speaker OFD Fire Chief David Parsons

Oceanside Sea Lions Club held a very successful general meeting led by amazing Lion President Belle Limoge. Our guest speaker was from the outstanding Oceanside Fire Department superb Fire Chief David Parsons. He talked about the recent Oceanside Pier fire and how the Oceanside fire department and other agencies contained the fire very effectively. He was very articulate and described the fire so vividly and with pictures that you feel you were there at the actual fire. No injuries to our first responders inspite of the thick smoke and structural damages. Thank you to the Oceanside Fire Department including the firefighters, life guards and everyone who helped put out the fire! From the air to the water they helped! Our deepest appreciation and gratitude to all heroes, first responders! May God bless you and keep you all safe.
