At the Armed Forces Day Operation Appreciation with Congressman Mike Levin and Camp Pendleton Brigadier General Jason Woodworth. Very successful event! Thank you for your service. More pictures to follow! ������
“Oceanside Chamber of Commerce CEO Scott Ashton, Porche Copeland, Rosie Hurt, Vanessa Lee, Hanna, Tracy Thorn held the Armed Force Day Operation Appreciation event at the Oceanside Pier Amphitheater and Junior Seau Beach Community Center. Active-duty military and their family members were treated to a day of free food, entertainment and children’s activities. The event is presented by Genentech, Frontwave Credit Union and Walmart and sponsored by nearly 20 other businesses, and supported by a grant from San Diego County Supervisor, Jim Desmond. Local dignitaries including Desmond along with Congressman Mike Levin, Assemblymember Laurie Davies, Oceanside Deputy Mayor Ryan Keim and Brigadier General Jason Woodworth, Commanding General, Marine Corps Installations West-Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton addressed the crowd.”
Oceanside District Council members Peter Weiss, Rick Robinson, OPD Police Chief Kedrick Sadler, PIO Jennifer Atenza, OFD Battalion Chief Jon Regner, Frontwave VP Chip Dykes, etc…attended. Oceanside Sea Lions Club Miss Oceanside Rihanna Rawley, Miss Teen Oceanside Karis Ho, Teen Princesses Gabby Kacanowski, Adriana Solorio, Vanessa Ramos, Princesses Megan Clark & Andrea Barba attended the event welcoming military and their families. OSLC President Pam Pahnke and VP2 Zucette Lumabas came to support the organization. It was a very successful event! Thank you for your service.
