Oceanside Sea Lions join the 40th KOCT Anniversary

The 40th KOCT anniversary celebration was a resounding success held on October 8, 2021 at KOCT! Congratulations organizers Carly Niles, Eileen Lohner-Turk, CJ Dimento, Linda William, officers, staff, volunteers! We wished them another 40 years of success and beyond! There were lots of recognition, congratulations, proclamations! It was well attended by prominent people, our awesome Mayor Esther Sanchez, Re-Elect Jim Desmond for San Diego County Supervisor, Assembly woman Tasha Boerner Horvath, Council Member Peter Weiss, Council Member Ryan Keim, City Treasurer Victor Roy, City Clerk Zeb Navarro, former City Manager Michelle Laurence and her husband OFD Division Chief Peter Laurence, Fire Specialist Ron Owens, OCC Kristi Hawthorne, Oceanside Sea Lions Club Ambassadors Miss Oceanside Erika Atienza, Princess Elizabeth Carlson, Teen Princess Marlie Wright, Teen Princess Jadyn Spiwak, OSLC President Pam Pahnke, OSLC 2nd VP Zucette Lumabas, Kathy Kinane, Robbie Hass, Robert Parker, Terry Goodman, Sterling Ammo, Stevan Turk, Kim DeGiulio and Tom, VANC Lorie, and a lot more! Yay! Our amazing Mayor Esther showed her excellent moves on the dance floor. Playing piano by Robert, singing and dancing were awesome. It was a fun and memorable event. Lots of socialization. Delicious food. Plenty of great prizes. We wished them the best!
