Oceanside Sea Lion attends OFD Annual Open House

Oceanside Fire Department ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE EVENT at the FIRE TRAINING CENTER held on October 28, 2023 was a resounding success! Congratulations to the superb Fire Chief David Parsons who had a booth for people to ask him, he was accommodating, handsome, intelligent, friendly and informative, all the amazing fav officers and staff like former Fire chief/District Council Member Rick Robinson, Division Chief & Fire Marshal Tim Scott, Capt Jacob Chambers, Assistant Fire Marshal Randy Hill, Capt Ryan Robinson, Capt Mark Campbell, Eng Kevin Levesque, Eng Will Buchanon, FF PM David Pepsny, Divisions Chief Luc Keener, Fire Inspector Ron Owens, Public Education Coordinator Linda McLaughlin, FF PM Michael Medrano, LG Ryan Rhoads, LG Gage Oppenborn, Lynne Seabloom, Capt Jeremy Brandt, etc…Great to see beautiful Cienna Chambers with her lovely children. Glad also to see Salome Tash, Laura Richardson Bassett, Oceanside Police Department Senior Volunteers, Julia Fister of Studio Ace, Highway Patrol, SDGE, TIP, etc..There were several activities going on. That demo going up the long ladder to the building and down the building with equipments looked frightening but our heroes first responders made it up & down without a problem. There were people shown how to do CPR, in another part they had fires which the old and young alike took turns to put out. The pancake breakfast cooked by firefighters chef were yummy. With this demo we appreciate more what they do for us! They are heroes no need to prove it. Thank you for this outstanding open house my fav first responders, heroes, handsome, intelligent, amazing firefighters! Thank you for the invite awesome OFD Linda McLaughlin! Special thanks to the handsome, intelligent Division Chief Tim Scott for helping me park. Our deepest appreciation and thanks to all that you do. May the Good Lord bless you and keep you safe always!
