Oceanside Sea Lions Club at the Senior Expo.

Oceanside Sea Lions Club
(OSLC) had a booth at the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce Senior
Expo on October 12, 2017 at the Civic Center. The day started
early in the morning with our awesome OSLC President Liz Latasa
started setting up our booth. Other amazing Lions volunteers
Dr. Fred Knapp, VP Pam Pahnke, Belle Limoge, Marc Manlapaz,
Coleen showed up (others stayed to help the whole time while
others came on their assigned times) also Treasurer Carol
Boyer, Rose Lewis, Ysella Sharp, Susan Prince also came to
volunteer. Dr. Fred Knapp and his assistant Alexis did a lot
of eye screening while Colleen took blood pressure. Others
gave information about the Lions club, white cane days and
Bowl for the Blind. It was an exciting and informative event.
Director Zucette Lumabas signed in a new Lion member Joseph
Joseph. Lion Ysella Sharp went around distributing the Bowl
for the Blind flyers. We enjoyed helping people.
