OSLC Proclamation
April 24, 2024
Proclamation was held at City Hall on April 24, 2024 recognizing the 2023-2024 Miss Oceanside and Miss Teen Oceanside Queens and Princesses for their outstanding community service work throughout the year. Proclamation certificates were given by Mayor Esther Sanchez . Congratulations and thank you ladies! The first proclamation was started by then President Zucette Lumabas in 2010 who was in charge of the ladies. The proclamation was signed by the Mayor. The ladies were thankful! They also were outstanding. I drove the first Miss Teen Oceanside and her court to middle schools to give inspirational talks. While Miss Oceanside was interviewed in the TV, and ran at the Turkey Trott, etc…She said if not for Zucette they would not have been able to attend events. Great memories.
