Oceanside Police Department held their very successful MEMBER RECOGNITION CEREMONY last February 21, 2024. Congratulations to the outstanding heroes first responders, event emceed by awesome Police Chief Kedrick Sadler assisted by OPD amazing staff, executive secretary Wendy Curtis Sullivan, Assistant Chief Taurino Valdovinos, Capt. Mike Kos, Lt Justin Pecchia, Officer Sam Hay, Elizabeth, Officer Nathaniel Brazelton, those in the pictures, and others. We’re very thankful to the excellent work they’ve done like Police Officer of the Year 2023, Professional Staff Member of the Year, Tony Zeppetella Award, Dan Bessant 2023, 2023 DUI Officer of the Year, 2023 Officer of the Year, Humanitarian, Commendations, Life Saving Awards. Names on the program! Our deepest thanks and gratitude for everything you do. Prayers for your safety! It was great to see Who’s Who in Oceanside, Fmr FC/DCM Rick Robinson, DCM Eric Joyce, Rob o’Brien, Gwen Sanders, Debra Howard, to name a few. They gave Andrea Sanders Community Friendship Awards to Pastor Sheldon Brown, Debra Howard and Oceanside Sea Lions Vice President Zucette Lumabas. It was unexpected but very much welcome! Thank you Officer Sam Hay who was so wonderful and helpful for letting me have my lifelong dream of having a picture with the police motorcycle. He offered for me to sit on it. Not yet but maybe in the future. Had fun listening and socializing! Amazing OFD BC Jeremy Brand and LG Capt William Curtis congratulated me. Great to meet new people! Food was yummy. Thank you. Venue was cool!
