Oceanside Sea Lions Club has a marvelous speaker

We had a marvelous speaker Jerry McCarthy who spoke how technology helped him at the Oceanside Sea Lions club general meeting on October 21, 2018. He became blind when he had an accident at the age of 3. He was very informative, descriptive and amazing speaker. He also had a keen sense of humor. Our deepest thanks Jerry. The members were impressed by him. We also celebrated the birthdays of Jackie Fred Knapp, George Mitchell, Jackie Lewis, Rose Lewis and Thomas Krouse. We wore Halloween costumes, really nice Halloween costume. Doc Knapp would have gotten first place with all his out of this world, scary costumes. Pam Pahnke was close second with her witch costume, followed by the military guy George Mitchell and all were in unique Halloween costume. We had super woman Belle Limoge, skeleton woman Ysela Castillo Sharp, phantom of the opera ladies Jackie Fred Knapp, Kathleen McCarthy, Beetle juice lady Elizabeth Latasa, surgeon Jack Lewis, and others with costumes Carol Boyer, Rose Lewis, Karen Zornes, Jerry McCarthy in Indiana Jones outfit and I was a pumpkin. Thank you Ysela Castillo Sharp for bringing the cake. We had a fun meeting.
