Oceanside Fire Department awards and recognition was a resounding success held last Friday! With the superb Fire Chief David Parsons as the emcee! He was an outstanding leader, articulate, handsome, compassionate, dedicated hero! It was great to see David’s wife beautiful Donna Parsons, Supervisor Jim Desmond, Assembly Woman Laurie Davis and her representative Ryan Ewart, Salome Tash district representative of Senator Mike Levin and Fernando Hernandez district representative of Senator Catherine Blakespear, Deputy Chief Jess Specht, BC Jeremy Brandt, BC Luc Keener, Tim Huerta, Capt Shawn Fernandes, Eng Kris Kaminski, FF David Pepsny, Carina Martinez, Ron Owens, etc……Congratulations to all graduates, EMT, heroes, retirees, LG Captain William Curtis, Linda McLaughlin, etc….Now you have daily day off! Zucette Lumabas received the beautiful Trophy for OFD Friend of the Year!! The FC talked about my involvement with the Miss Teen Pageant which was started during my presidency, my volunteer work with Oceanside Sea Lions Club. Thank you! I’m deeply touched! Food was good. Place was welcoming.
